We’re back from our summer break and have a small update with us today.
General improvements
Inventories get a new “generate” button to easily generate an entity’s inventory. Filter on tags and amount of elements you wish to be added to the entity’s inventory.

The calendar dashboard widget now shows the current day’s moon phases.

Under a campaign’s stats page, a new “word count” section split between entities, posts, and others was added.

When transforming an entity, if any data would be lost (like transforming a timeline into an event, losing all the eras and elements), an alert is displayed.

Genially.com is now in the iFrame whitelist.
We’ve added an alert that shows up on Kanka if a user has Javascript disabled, since much of Kanka requires Javascript to run properly.
API changes
We’ve added PATCH and PUT support for entity abilities, allowing sending multiple attributes in a single request.
Fixed a bunch of dead links and inconsistencies.
Removed the is_private property from posts since it no longer is used.
Bug fixes
Fixed an issue where creating a new tag in the quick creator would create that new tag multiple times.
A plugin owner can now reply to comments on the plugin library even if they are no longer a subscriber.
Fixed some wording when copying a plugin about what gets copied over.
Entities can be removed from an ability’s entities subpage.
The random widget would crash when trying to load a map. Instead, it now shows a proper error message.
When creating a new child of an entity, the parent field is filled out.
When editing a circle marker, moving it properly saves the new position.
That’s it for the overview of this 3.4 release. You can follow along what we’re working on next on our roadmap.
