1. What we shipped

Nothing exciting yet. We fixed a bunch of bug fixes to campaign imports, and api validations. We’ve also been testing a new starter kit for new acounts that hopefully better showcases some of Kanka’s cool features. We’ll share stats about that once we have enough data!

2. What we’re working on next

Kanka 3.9 is right around the corner. I am nervous about this update because we are making a lot of changes and introducing some spicy stuff that we’ve hinted at in recent logs. Hoping to get it out before the next developer log!

3. Behind the scenes

A lot of PayPal subscribers that last paid in 2022-2023 had their subscriptions finally ended. We hope you enjoyed the (unplanned) extra 3 years of premium features for free, and look forward to seeing you resubscribe 😘

I did have a mini heart attack when running the command for the first time, as an error in my logic meant that it flagged 570 users. Luckily I was running in “dry” mode, could fix the issue, and was able to run the command correctly. That would have been a lot of angry emails to deal with.
