Today’s update addresses the EU’s new GDPR rules.

• The existing “newsletter” checkbox for all profiles has been set to “no”, and all new accounts start with that value at no. If someone wishes for promotional emails, they need to request it in their profile settings. This checkbox exists since a while but has so far never been used.
• Updated our privacy policy to be way clearer about your data and security.
• Registering a new accounts now requires users to accept our privacy policy.

Improvements

• New dropdown “null/yes/no” filters for is private and other boolean values. It is also now possible to filter text fields to “not” by having a “!” as the first character. For example, if you want all location that don’t contain the word “mountain”, use the “!mountain” name filter. [102]
• Increase a character’s sex field from 12 to 45 string length.
• Notification UI: Don’t show the “0” bubble when there are no notifications.
• Calendar: Various UI fixes (fixed layout, mobile now works in portrait mode)

Bug Fixes

• Attributes Manage: 0 values are now properly saved.
